With the increase consumption in lithium ion battery, waste lithium ion battery has become one of the environmental pollution sources. People gradually attach importance to its recycle. This dissertation contrasts and analyzes the recycle condition of waste lithium ion battery in domestic and international countries, discusses the necessity, possibility, demand and benefit of recycle relating to waste lithium ion battery, and evaluates its value degree by adopting the methods of data consultation and analysis, questionnaire inquiry, data collection and analysis, and specialist discussion. Base on the investigation and analysis of present recycle condition, suggestions in the recycle course management are put forward. Then the economic model is established and the total income is calculated. The conclusions are drawn as follows:1. There is a gap in the recycle of the waste lithium ion battery between China and the developed countries such as Japan.2. The recycle work of the waste lithium ion battery has environmental significance and resource utilization significance etc. Evaluation conclusion indicates that recycle work of the waste lithium ion battery has some value degree.3. Now Beijing has no precondition in developing recycle work on the whole, which shows in the following: incomplete law and rule, citizen's lack of adequate understanding about the necessity of recycle work relating to the waste lithium ion battery, incomplete matchable establishment, unreasonable disposal way, and lack of management method.4. Doing well the recycle management work of lithium ion battery can help to accelerate its development.5. The recycle work of the waste lithium ion battery can gain some income.
