| The dissertation consists two parts.Part one is about the synthesis and determination of small molecular liquid crystals for display.Part two is about the study of supramolecules liquid crystals.Collection of supramolecules chemistry theory and liquid crystal science results in a novel science field:supramolecules liquid crystals,which is aim to synthesize more and more liquid crystalline material by molecules recognization and self-assembly and acknowledge more about them.Three kinds of supramolecules liquid crystals were studied in this dissertation as follows:1. Development of liquid crystalline polymer self-organized by hydrogen bond and ionic bond was reviewed. Three kinds of supramolecules liquid crystals were designed based on the review.2.Approporite routes to synthesize the donor of the supramolecules liquid crystals (WN, WQ)were ascertained ,and the structure of the target molecules and their intermediate(WBr) were determined by IR 1HNMR DSC and EA.3. Arcylic acid , arcylate sodium and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfate sodium were polymerized by choosing potassium persulfate and bisulfite natrium as initiator and water as solvent.The viscosity-average molecules weight or intrinsic viscosity of polymers(PAA-Na, PAMPS-Na) were determined by viscometry.4.Complex of WN/PAA WQ/PAA-Na, WQ/PAMPS-Na were prepared by approporite routes.5.The characteristic performance and texture of supramolecules liquid crystals and their intermediate were determined by DSC polarized microscopy with a hot stage and x-ray diffraction.The analysis results show that WBr WN WN/PAA can exhibit smetic phase at certain temperature ranges .Although WQ is not a liquid crystal , its complex WN/PAA-Na and WQ/PAMPS-Na can exhibit the character ofLC. |
