In this paper, the modification of PHB by blending PEO which content is less than 20% is studied firstly. Through FT-IR, DSC analysis and the mechanical properties test of PHB/PEO, the molecular structure of PHB in this material was not changed but the toughness and technological property of this material was improved. Then study on the spinning technology of PHB/PEO by the dry spinning. Through synthesizing the change of intensity, elongation and other mechanical properties, and characterizing the surface configuration of fiber produced under different condition with SEM and OPM, the best spinning technology was confirmed. On this basis, the biocompatibility and degradation of the fibers were synthesized by experiment in vitro and in vivo. Experimental result showed that PHB fibers produced by dry spinning have some toughness, strength and good biocompatibility and good biodegradability. And also addition of PEO can accelerate the biodegradation of PHB.
