The dissertation combines the practical situation of reservoir development and the colloid and interface chemistry theory, the exploration and practice of WPS surfactant displacement is done, firstly it introduces the existing situation and working mechanism of WPS, secondly doing some in-house laboratory, it mainly involves compound design, the measurements of \VTS physical and chemical parameter and the displacement experiment so on. Based on the above work, it carries on the field-test and effect evaluation, the results of pilot project carried out in the south part of GU Dao oil field indicate the water-cut is decreasing, and the oil production per day is increasing, so the accumulative increased oil is up to 21364 tons and the profit is 6,976,000 yuan. UTS surfactant is a new kind of water-soluble anionic surfactant, it has the below merits: good water-solution, high dispersion, strong emulsifying pewer and high surfactivity so on. And it has stable quality and cheap, so WPS surfactant shows the wide prospect for EOR.
