Degradation Of Starch-based Material Prepared

In order to resolve the more and more serious pollution environmental problem ,Full-starch thermoplastics are being much concerned. The present situation and the development trend of thermoplastic starch in domestic and foreign countries, and its biodegradability and evaluation method were reviewed.In order to prepare thermoplastic starches, water and glycerol were used as plasticizers, and their influences on the processability were studied .The starch granulates prepared by extruding the premixes with a twin-screw extruder, As a result, the TPS is a function of water and glycerol content. We also investigated the influence of water content, water absorption, water desorption and granulate size on TPS. The product was characterized by infrared, electron microscope ,differential thermal and so on .
