| A kind of novel polyacrylates and poly(acrylate-co-methyl methacrylate)s with nonlinear optical conjugated group was synthesized. Their properties were studied with multi-detector GPC (gel permeation chromatograph). The main contents of this dissertation consist of the following points:1. The development of GPC was summarized, the principle and application of double-detector GPC (GPC/UV-RI) containing ultraviolet absorption (IJV) and differential refractive index (RI) detectors, and the tri-detector GPC (GPC/RI-DV-RALLS) containing RI, differential viscometry (DV) and right-angle light scattering (RALLS) detectors were introduced.2. According to the theory of nonlinear optics, four objective monomers were designed and their synthetic routes were selected. Their structures were characterized with infrared refractor (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR).3. The objective monomers were polymerized by free radical polymerization method. Influence of different polymeric conditions, such as temperature, solvent, time and catalyst, were investigated in details. The copolymerizations of the objective monomers with methyl methacrylate (MMA) were carried out. These polymers were characterized with IR, UV and NMR.4. The properties of homopolymers solution were investigated with GPC/RI-DV-RALLS, and the relationship between polymer structure and properties was discussed. The constitute and constitute distribution of copolymers were measured with GPC/UV-RI. A fast method of detecting the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of copolymers by GPC/UV-RI-DV-RALLS was brought forward.5. The nonlinear optical properties of the homopolymers of four objective monomers were studied with z-scan technology. The experimental results revealed that they all possessed well nonlinear absorption. It was discussed the relationship between nonlinear optical properties and molecular structure. |
