The multi-pulse X-ray photographer will be constructed according to the tenth-five year plan in CAEP. The amorphous cells will be used in the project. The necessary about this project and general character of the amorphous material are described in this paper. This paper represents the special requirement of coat insulation and magnetic character measurement. In order to further understand the characteristics of amorphous, a test device is built, the magnetic characters of magnetic material are tested. The results show that the increment of magnetic density can be two times to the static condition as long as providing enough driving magnetic strength, which can be helpful to our works. After analyzing the results we found that the insulation coat of Fe base amorphous made in China works satisfactorily and one of amorphous toriod can replace three ferrite ones in the same size. It is possible to use four amorphous toroids replace eleven ferrite ones without changing the pulse power system, and the axial length of cell constructed with amorphous toroids can be reduced to 57.5% and the cost of magnitic cores to 42.5% comparried to the constracted with ferrite toroids. All this works make an important basis to multi-pulse LIA construction in the future.
