| A large amount of sludge with complex component is produced in municipal sewage treatment plant. So how to make an economical, effective use of it has recently become one of the increasingly concerning issues in environmental science.The paper discussed the dewatering for sludge reduction, anaerobic digestion and anaerobic composting for sludge resources. The sludge produced in XIAOSHAN municipal sewage treatment plant, which deals with living sewage 120,000 t/d and produces dry sludge by filter pressing about 60 t/d, is discussed as a practicing instant of the series of methods. The realizations of sludge reduction and sludge resources have severarmain aspects as following:(1) Sludge dewateringC-PAM and melamine are the main condition agents used in sludge conditioning. Melamine is the better one as far as dewatering effect is concerned. In fact, C-PAM is more widely used in view of economic point. (2) Anaerobic digestionOn conditions of 55 "C and 1.46 of sludge-water ratio, the best effect of anaerobic digestion is got, and the digesting gas reaches up to 3.65 LAg sludge.(3 ) Anaerobic compostingOn conditions of 55'C, proper rate of water about 85%, and 6 days composting, the optima anaerobic digestion is got, and the soluble NHs-N reaches up to 24 mg/g dry sludge.The determination of relative process conditions and mechanism analysis are carried out. The results are helpful for sludge industrialization. |
