| Internal combustion engine as most popular power machinery still has an affect in a new era. With improvement of people's living condition, the design requirement of power and economical performance is increased. All of this is not only the outcome of mankind society developing but also the objective of nature we live together. In the process of manufacturing of Diesel engine, cylinder head is one of main components of internal combustion engine, which should be paid enough attention.The cooling efficiency of the casting core of cylinder head will guarantee normal functioning of engine. Cylinder head cooling jacket assumes cooling task which is related to attain the target and critical to decrease of heat mechanics. Engine cylinder head cooling is such an important area that I design a 3-D system in order to optimize the structure of cooling jacket. Designing process is related to several aspects such as computer graphics,cooling system of cylinder head and so on , all of which is not mature enough to be applied to production and I hope my efforts will become a basis for later work.. This system aims at drawing complex and irregular casting core of cylinder head of Diesel engine by using popular and modern method of surface and solid modeling, utilizing the secondary developing technology at the platform of AutoCAD and MDT and making this system parameterization in order to meet the need of products. According to given design parameters, the 3-D model of casting coreis built automatically. |
