The growth process of Pseudomonas J7R-22, a strain of which can effectively degrade bromanine acid(ABAS), optimum of its cultural condition and degradation process of bromanine acid are studied in this paper. First, the growth curve of the strain and degradation curve of ABAS are drawn from the experiments. It is found that the growth curve of the strain accords with typical growth curve of bacterium and that in rapid growth period JR-22 can degrade ABAS more quickly. Secondly, substrate inhibition exists when JR-22 consumes ABAS. Kinetic inhibition model for JR-22 growth and substrate biodegradation are constructed respectively by renewing Monod Equation and substrate digestion model as follows: 1) ?p ~4S] 1(1 + [S] I K,) (kinetic inhibition model for JR-22 growth), where Jimax 0.244h? Km179 1.8mg/i and Ki231 .8mg/l respectively and 2 ) q = q inax[S] 1(1 + [S] / K1.~) (kinetic inhibition Kn12/(1 + [S]/K,~) + [S] model for substrate biodegradation) where qmaxO.795W? K11~237l .7mg/i, K~~=589.lmg/l. Experimental data are fitted well by these two models and the models can be used in the design of wastewater treatment process. Finally, a reasonable pathway for describing ABAS inhibition is suggested according to the models. |
