This paper studies a new current stabilizer in the oil production wellbore which would be applied to the import and export side of the downhole separation system. The separator will get relatively stable flow, pressure, velocity and other parameters in the separation environment with this equipment. It is a simple self-operated machinery without additional downhole and uphole regulation.According to the theory of fluid-structure interaction this paper puts forward the steady flow theory of the current stabilizer and innovatively plans a downhole current stabilizer.We established the analysis model with the three-dimensional modeling software UG and had done some structural optimizations and improvements according to the fluid-structure interaction analysis of the current stabilizer in ADINA. We optimized the steady flow cone structure into one curve model, quadratic curve model and cubic curve model and had done some structural improvements that changing the elongated holes into the thin-walled holes in float structure. We do a series of simulation analysis about steady flow float in different displacement and obtain the relationship curves between the pressure and the displacement.This paper uses a combination of theoretical analysis and experimental research methods. In order to further analyze the facters of flow control accuracy of the current stabilizer, this paper designs a indoor test device of the current stabilizer and we have done a series of experimental studies about the relationship between the pressure and the displacement of the steady flow float and get the flow rate & pressure curve of the product model. The results show that we can achieve constant flow control of the current stabilizer by using linear helical spring.
