Image Gathering And Feature Research Of Arc Welding Pool

With the constant development of manufacturing,welding technology has played a key role for it.As for the deeper research of welding process,the application of welding process will be further development.In order to achieve real-time control of welding process,we need to get the extreme accurate real-time welding information,then we will be able to timely adjust and control of welding process parameters so as to better complete the control of the welding process.Based on the image research of the CO2 in weld pool this paper has improved the welding process and welding quality.Our image gathering system is constructed by a high-speed camera,image gathering card,filter combination,experimental apparatus and computers,which has set up the experiment system on extraction of welding pool information.And this image gathering system can be used to test the weld pool image information as well.Aiming at the welding experiment process of high strength low alloy stell CO2,a better quality of CO2 welding pool image are taken out by this experiment system.This paper collected the morphology of the welding pool during welding.By using the method of grayscale distribution and extra we describes the surface of the welding pool image information,using median filter to climinate the noise of the welding pool,using the method of threshold segmentation to get the complete pool area edge and shape of welding pool after removal of arc light.On this basis,we define the acreage of image 1 welding pool,welding pool width,and other characteristic parameters,analysis of the relationship between the morphology characteristics of welding pool area image and the welding speed,and thus to solve the problem the rationality of the technological parameters and lay a solid foundation for welding quality...
