The foam flotation has a history of one hundred years, however the flotation separation of copper-lead-zinc sulfide has been a problem in mineral processing.The research is about a polymetallic sulfide ore of Gansu Tianshui.The polymetallic sulfide ore is mainly of gold、silver、lead and zinc, meanwhile recovery copper comprehensively. Metal minerals is major of galena、sphalerite and pyrite, Silver- tetrahedrite and chalcopyrite is in the next place. The gangue minerals are mainly of quartz, sericite;the second is carbonate minerals, chlorite.The technological mineralogy of ore shows that most of the copper, lead and zinc mineral is coarse granularity,so that is easy to chose.However it is also to exist complexity.For example,Galena packages size ranging of silver tetrahedrite, silver tetrahedrite packages finer size of galena, chalcopyrite and pyrite, part of chalcopyrite contains fine grained of galena. This relationship of the parcel with galena and copper result in the high lead of copper concentrate. Part of the fine grained galena is wrapped in the sphalerite, which is difficult to distinguish, this maybe cause higher lead in the zinc concentrate. Sphalerite parcel some fine silver tetrahedrite and electrum, that will inevitably make some silver and gold loss in the zinc concentrate. Silver mainly consist in the silver tetrahedrite, so the silver will be mainly enriched in copper concentrate. Silver is important to included in the silver tetrahedrite, so that is enriched in copper concentrate. Precious metals mainly enriched in copper concentrate and sulphur concentrate.In view to the characteristic of objietive mineral occurrence, we develop to the · mineral processing flowsheet that fit to the ore properties and be reasonable of technical and economic, so that can improve the comprehensive recovery.By means of the research and comparison with different projects, we adopt to part of the mixed flotation flow to deal with the ore. In another word is that: copper and lead mixed flotation, then float zinc, at last separate the copper and lead from the copper-lead mixed concentrate.The grind fineness is 70%-0.074 mm, in this process we chose lime to adjust the pH, use the combined reagent as zinc depressor which is composed of zincsulfate and natronite,take ethyl xanthate as copper-lead mixed flotation collector, buthyl xanthate as zinc collector, Pine Camphor Oil as frother. In the process of separating lead and copper from copper-lead mixed concentrate,we adopt the active carbon as the removal reagent, take combined reagent CMC, sodium silicate, sodium sulfite to inhibition lead when float copper,Z-200 as silver-copper concentrate collector. Under the best condition in the open flowsheet,good test result can be obtained that the copper concentrate contain Cu17.47%, the recovery rate is 61.12%; Lead concentrate contain Pb59.58%, recovery rate is 85.82%;Zinc concentrate contain Zn57.36% and the recovery rate of 76.49%.Finally good indexes are achieved by closed flowsheet, while the copper, lead and zinc concentrates grading 14.55% Cu, 56.68% Pb and 53.56% Zn are obtained, at recoveries of 75.47%,92.09% and 76.58%, silver and gold content in the copper concentrate reaches 44543g/t and 124.27 g/t respectively. At the same time, sulfur concentrate contain grading 2.40g/t and recoveries of 1.76% Au.
