Because the Tailings ponds are mostly built nearby the factory, and the surrounding areas are mostly densely populated, the Tailings ponds play very important roles in safe production, construction and people’s lives and property. Therefore, the Tailings pond is as one of the major risk sources in China, it is necessary to implement the necessary, reliable and timely monitoring of safe operation indicators for the Tailings pond. With the increasing of ore drawing amount, the Tailings pond needs to constantly build and ascend the dam. Because the pond is constantly to be constructed, timely and effective monitoring can bring basis for the daily safe production of the enterprise, guide the production and even the construction of the Tailings pond.
