As China’s first energy, carbon emissions from coal combustion brought the country’s total carbon emissions have been high proportion. The coal industry in the coming years will continue to be our main breadwinner. What method to use to account for the carbon emissions of the coal industry, to reduce energy consumption as well as the carbon emissions effectively, it has an important role in promoting the cause for China’s development of green industries, low-carbon economy.Yongcheng mine is our research background and coal-electricity supply chain is the main study of line in this paper. By application of lifecycle analysis method, the coal- electricity supply chain is divided into four main sectors, these are coal mining sector, coal processing sector, coal transportation sector and coal-fired power generation sector. By doing research and analysis on these four aspects of the production activities, to determine the boundaries of carbon emissions and carbon source in all aspects. After that to establish both practicality and applicability carbon emissions accounting model of each aspects.According to the characteristics of mining area establish accounting model, take reasonable correction on the each emission factor, then account the carbon emissions separately for each link of mining coal- electricity supply chain. By analysis of accounting results, to find out the larger production chain of carbon emissions, propose effective measures to reduce emissions for Yongcheng mining area, such as promote low-concentration gas power generation technology, improve electricity system, use advanced technology to improve the utilization of coal-fired.Due to the complexity of the carbon accounting process in the coal- electricity supply chain, with the purpose of simplify the process of accounting carbon emissions, directly reflect the roots of the process of corporate carbon emissions problem, this article applies to the development of carbon emissions accounting software used in coal-electricity supply chain. The software applications can effectively simplify the accounting process of carbon emissions, and improve the efficiency and accuracy, and also have designed the data analysis program on the accounting results, by which the corporation can find the most effective way to reduce carbon emissions.
