In recent years the development of spaceflight, navigation, aviation industry, the application of heavy forging equipment is becoming more and more widely. The hydraulic system to control the commonly used heavy forging equipment. The hydraulic system it is not only easy to operate and control, and move in a straight line, but also it has a long service life. So it has been used widely. However, the problems of hydraulic system are happening frequently and complicatedly. Thus it is very difficult to clear and resolve the problems. Therefore, it has the significant and practical significance to design and research hydraulic malfunction diagnosis expert system.The thesis is based on the research of hydraulic system malfunction of 25 MN high-speed forging press, and design a set of targeted hydraulic malfunction diagnosis expert system. The system is used to diagnose and resolve the problems which happened in 25 MN high-speed forging press.Through the composition and structure of expert system for the further study of two core knowledge base and inference engine, with the method of integration of production and application framework to express knowledge of knowledge base, the fault tree into a list, complete the knowledge acquisition, knowledge base based on fault tree model to establish the knowledge base, in-depth study of inference engine inference control strategy and the use of forward reasoning control strategy structure reasoning machine. We went into further study the structure of expert system, two core knowledge base and inference engine, based on VC++ intelligent computer language for writing, used keywords natural language to express knowledge base, applied Microsoft Visual Fox Pro to build and store knowledge base data, and used forward inference control strategy to set up inference engine. In the condition of knowledge base editing, we select ODBC driver, and knowledge base expansion can be finished. Finally the basic model of hydraulic malfunction diagnosis expert system of 25 MN high-speed forging press is established.At last, successive input or one- time fault phenomenon, we can get the result that we expected after expert system processing by testing. It meet the design requirements of expert system basically.
