Hematite is one of the most important iron ore resources,which has large reserves and distributes widely.Its reserve is more than 20 billion ton,which has tremendous value and potential taking up more than 50% percent of China’s iron ore reserves.Based on the characteristics of Hematite from Si Jia Ying mine,it develops cationic reverse flotation process to apply to Si Jia Ying concentrator,in order to simplify the complex pharmacy system of Si Jia Ying concentrator.Making a new type available cationic collectors for a roughing under different conditions,test results show that the collector HBLH-1 and HBLH-2 affect more ideally.Using the single condition factor test and orthogonal test,a reasonable reagent system is found.Only collector HBLH-1 has good test index.Under the agent system as roughing collector dosage 300g/t,inhibitor dosage 1500g/t,selecting collector dosage75g/t,after a roughing and a selection the test gets the concentrate whose grade is 65.22%and recovery rate is 70.83% successfully.In order to keep the concentrate grade in the closed circuit process test, the drug dosage of the collector HBLH-1 is adjusted the open process test.Under the agent system as roughing collector dosage 300g/t,inhibitor dosage 1500g/t,selecting collector dosage100g/t, scavenging inhibitor dosage 600g/t,after a opening process including one roughing,one selecting and two scavengings the test gets the concentrate whose grade is67.03% and the recovery rate is 65.50%.The grade of tailings is 7.33%.In the end,the stable closed circuit process test get the following results:the concentrate grade65.10%,recovery rate 85.93%,and the grade of tailings is 11.91%.The reaction principle of cationic reverse flotation process was analyzed from three aspects of free energy,chemical equilibria in aqueous solution and zeta-potential changes.
