Research On Mining Method Selection System Of Metal Mine Based On GIS

Currently, computer technology, three-dimensional visualization and geographic information science have been widely applied to mine design, mining and production. Mining method selection is the basis for mine production engineering, the design quality can affect the duration, cost, productivity and economic benefits of the construction project. So, applying the above technique to mining method selection has big significance.Since all the mining activities are carried out in a true three-dimensional environment, and the traditional selection work is mostly based on two-dimensional maps, making space geological conditions need to be imagined by designers, the spatial visualization effect is not good, you can’t validate the results of mining method selection, which affects the speed and accuracy of mining method selection.The select process involves various factors of technical, economic, resource and security, it’s a multi-level, multi-factor and multi-goal system engineering. For such a complex system engineering, the error of geological data, and the uncertainties of some factors can make the selection has great fuzziness, randomness and unpredictability, so mining method selection becomes a typical fuzzy decision problem. Therefore, using fuzzy mathematics and AHP to build a scientific selection program can avoid the subjectivity caused by traditional selection of mining experts based on their experience.By studying on the methods and processes to build three-dimensional model of mine geological by 3DMine, 3DMax and Super Map, taking two-dimensional topographic and geologic data as the database, we finally achieve the two-dimensional and threedimensional integrated environments; and develops an expert system in VS.net platform under the above environment. Because of the intuitively browse and measure of ore institution, the numerous of mining method knowledge data, and the scientific of mathematic theories in mining method selection system, which makes the process of mining method selection more intuitive, and the result more accurate.
