The quality is closely related to the heat transfer and the stress distribution in continuous casting. The solidification process of continuous casting directly determines the organizational structure and the overall quality of casting billet internal. Optimization of continuous casting process can improve the solidification process of billet and production efficiency. Therefore, it needs to study on heat transfer and stress distribution in continuous casting to provide reference for the continuous casting process optimization, Getting iron and steel factory of Jan Long as the research object to do the slab solidification process simulation of the temperature field, stress field and displacement distribution. Analyses effect of billet quality on the distribution of temperature and stress for second water distribution optimization, at the same time, following the shrinkage characteristics of steel solidification to adjust roll gap.The research results show that when casting speed is 1.1m/min, from foot roller to zero segment, it has been warming. In solidification process casting speed, ratio of water and Superheat produce different effects, pulling speed on the influence of casting temperature and thermal stress is the largest, ratio of water is the second, and superheat is not obvious. After optimization, warming is relatively less than 150℃, temperature of the width and narrow surface are difference, it get smaller. This shows that the optimization works. From the thought that intentionally drum belly pressed in the soft reduction technology, the roll gap is opening in early second cold, the inner and the outer arc slab slightly bulging under the action of static pressure, the implementation of high pressure is done at the end of the implementation. Redistributing shrinkages in straightening area, shrinkage increases in the area before straightening to prevent shrinkage stress and straightening stress too much, the design is convenient, easy to adjust, and the effect is very best. Low times microstructure proved slab existed intermediate crack defect. Position of intermediate crack is in the zero section shows that warming is the cause of crack defect. The existence of central porosity and shrinkage shows that the roll gap is not reasonable, it is not sufficient to supplement the billet shrinkage at the end of solidification.
