Metallic nano arrays have the special properties like superhydrophobic and the SERS(surface enhanced Raman spectra) properties due to their unique nano structures. The size, shape and nanogap of the silver nano arrays are the main elements that influence its functional performance. So developing the nano structured materials is not only a approch to get to know the nano world, but also the way to develop high performance nano materials. Though there are many methods to prepare silver nano arrays, but they are almost limited by high cost and low efficiency. They also have limitations in fabricating nano structures. It is meaningful to systematically develop nano structured silver arrays with low costs and high efficiency for the further investigation of the functional performance of the silver nano arrays and the realization of industrial application as soon as possible.Based on all the above backgound, we explored a new method to fabricate different structured silver nano arrays on the copper foil based on the chemical deposition mechanism. Meanwhile, the superhydrophobic and SERS properties of different nano structured silver film have been investigated systematically. By study the relationship between different silver structures and the functional performance to discuss the influence mechanism of the nano structure on the functional properties. The research contents and main conclusions are as follows.1. By employing a environmental friendly reductant in the eletrolye composed of AgNO3, the preparation methold of microball-nanosheet structured silver nano arrays was realized. At the same time, the hierarchical lotus leaf like silver film with the protuberance with a diameter around 200 nm and the petal like silver film with the protuberance with a diameter around 50 nm were deposited by change the depostion system. With the help of XRD, TEM and other analysis techniques, we investigated the deposition mechanism of the nanostructured silver film.2. Comparing the superhydrophobicity of different silver nano arrays with the modification of hexadecanethiol, we have explored the superhydrophobic mechanism in the view of surface structure. By controlling the surface components with different surface treatment, the tunnable sueprhydrophobici MN structured silver film with a adhesion force between low and high adhesive force was obtained. The micro-liquid transportation has also been realized.3. The lotus leaf like silver film shows excellent superhydrophobic performance with a contact angle of 166.5° and a sliding angle of 1°. However, the petal like silver film shows high adhesive superhydrophobicity. The contact mechanism between the waterdrop and the superhydrophobic surface has been discussed by analysis of the superhydrophobic performance on different hierarchical nano structures.4. R6 G and 4-Mpy were employed as the probe molecules to analyse the SERS performance on different nano structured silver film. The electromagnetic enhancement mechanism of the MN substrate has been stated. The molecule concentrating MN SERS substrate was obtained by applying superhydrophobicity of the silver nano arrays in the SERS property creatively. The the enhancement factor has been impoved to 1.2×1010. It also tested to be a reproducible and recyclable SERS substrate, which is a practical SERS substrate.
