All-cellulose self-reinforced composites (SRACCs) have high interfacial compatibility, in which both the matrix and reinforcing materials were cellulose. Therefore, SRACCs have excellent mechanical properties which are environmentally friendly. It has very important significance for solving recycling issues of composites.Self-reinforced all-cellulose composites (ACCs) are prepared by partially dissolving hemp fabric (HF) or manchurian ash (MA) in 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride (BMIMCl) and then disposing it by hot-pressing. The crystallinity index (CrI), microstructure, mechanical properties and thermal properties of SRACCs are investigated using an XRD, a SEM, a tensile test and TG The results of the study are as follows:1^ Compared with HF, the CrI of SRACCs rises; microscopic surfaces of SRACCs become smooth, and the gaps between the fibers disappeared; tensile strength of SRACCs increases; thermal degradation behavior of SRACCs becomes two stages degradation, residual carbon significantly increases. When hot-pressing pressure is lOMPa, hot-pressing time is 10min and hot-pressing temperature is 120℃, the tensile strength of SRACCs is up to 77.9MPa, the tensile strength has an 31% increase, and the mass of residual carbon increases from 8.5% to 12.9%.2、Compared with MA, the CrI of SRAWCs rises; microscopic surfaces defects of SRAWCs are filled, and the gaps between the fibers disappeared; tensile strength of SRAWCs increases; thermal degradation behavior of SRAWCs becomes two stages degradation, residual carbon significantly increases. When hot-pressing presure is 10MPa, hot-pressing temperature is 190℃ and hot-pressing time is 10min, the tensile strength of SRAWCs is up to 212.6MPa, the tensile strength has an 239% increase, and the mass of residual carbon increases from 19.7% to 24.9%.
