In the steel industry, the control of the temperature of the molten steel directly reflects the development level of the steelmaking process control. The measurement and control of steel temperature in tundish can not be ignored, because it directly affects the quality and the solidification position of the continuous casting slab, which reduces costs effectively and ensures the steelmaking process work smoothly. The ladle heat dissipation, the slag blanket of the liquid steel surface, the argon blew into the ladle all have an effect on the tundish temperature in the field. In order to understand the change of the tundish temperature during the steelmaking process in real-time, precisely monitoring the temperature of the molten steel dynamically is needed. Based on the measured precise molten steel temperature, plasma heating and some other measures are adopted to ensure the stability of the steel temperature in tundish.The steel signal processor system in this thesis is designed based on the measured tundish temperature, the main research contents are as following:The study on the theory of infrared radiation, system software and hardware is designed. Methods for testing the tundish temperature is put forward and verified. The data acquired by use of the system are analyzed and processed. The design depending on the dual processor includes two parts:one is called signal sampling part, which includes around power panel and a round signal-collecting board whose design mainly provides the power supply, collects the weak current signal and tests the environment temperature. This part has small volume, realize integration with the temperature measuring probe, and has advantages of effectively reducing interference; another part is the main control part, whose function is real-time data receiving, LCD display, data storage and receives the data in real time, shows them on the LCD, stores data and the transmission of remote data by General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). On the method of measure, the temperature of the molten steel is detected by switching the circuit indirectly, data fitting and software compensation.Through the overall circuit design and debugging and operation of the system, the main functions of each part is achieved, and after processing and analyzing of the large amount of collected data, the accuracy of the weak current signal of the signal sampling part is≤2‰ (1400~1600℃, high-temperature range);≤5‰(1000~1400℃, low-temperature range). At the same time, the connection problem of the signal processor and the PC’s dynamic IP address is also successfully solved in this essay.Finally, this steel signal processor system can work steadily with relatively perfect function which can basically meet the real needs, and can detect the temperature of the molten steel in real time.
