Horizontal well staged fracturing technique is economic and effective increase oil field recovery and development of low permeability and low porosity reservoir mainly means. Sliding sleeve fracturing ball as the key technology of horizontal well staged fracturing has important research significance. This paper constitute a sliding sleeve fracturing ball raw material corrosion principle, the shear mechanics strength of ascension and the internal and external factors influencing the corrosion of magnesium alloys has carried on the thorough research, will take the magnesium alloy as the basic raw material of sliding sleeve fracturing the ball through the study of the rare earth alloying of magnesium alloy, homogenization heat treatment, high potential elements and low melting point elements methods such as improving the performance of magnesium alloy material to the technical level of similar products abroad.In this paper, according to the baker hughes company’s products can be set of fracturing Ball(Disintegrating Frac Ball) of publicity materials, carried on the thorough analysis to this product, its main composition and working principle, also have a preliminary understanding. And according to the level of magnesium alloy industry in China, through technological means such as heat treatment, rare earth alloying, compressive strength and shear strength of magnesium alloys to improve, through experiment contrast found that rare earth magnesium alloy after alloying in compressive strength and shear strength has the very big enhancement, fully meet the requirements of the scene. At the same time also to the interior and the exterior of the biodegradable properties influence factors were studied, found that influence the degradation rate of magnesium alloys external factors mainly include: magnesium chloride ion concentration, PH value of the environment value size and size, temperature and external stress. And influence the degradation rate of magnesium alloys impurities and defects existing in the internal factors including smelting process, the magnesium alloy smelting process, internal grain size and degree of homogenization, and by changing these factors, observe the size of the effects of these factors on the degradation speed of magnesium alloys. Again by observing the constitution diagram of rare earth magnesium alloy corrosion, to understand the corrosion process of rare earth magnesium alloys, learned from the micro rare earth magnesium alloy corrosion was the first to occur in the grain boundary with the smaller grain adjacent, and is the base phase of magnesium alloy anode, magnesium alloy in the second phase is the cathode, galvanic corrosion occurred between them. In order to make uniform sliding sleeve fracturing ball to degradation, through to the rare earth magnesium alloy element to add some high potential in the process of smelting, and some of the low melting point elements, using the principle of high temperature corrosion and galvanic corrosion of magnesium alloys is accelerated corrosion of magnesium alloys, also found that the rare earth elements in the process of magnesium alloy corrosion has change the direction of corrosion effect, can have the effect of the uniform corrosion. Finally, through the study of the homogenization of refining a new type of magnesium alloy by heat treatment, make the inside of the magnesium alloy grain fine, and uniform distribution, the new type of magnesium alloy uniform degradation effect.
