As an important structural metallic material, cold wind power nodular cast iron has been widely used in the machinery manufacturing industries. Since the rapidly developing wind power industry is moving in stand-alone large-scale, high reliability and large-scale direction, nodular cast iron should have high impact toughness, especially low temperature impact toughness under certain intensity.Based on the statistical data of cold wind power ball production result, this research discusses the cold wind power ball’s chemical composition on quality by using MATLAB software, and it also employ one-on-one linear fitting method to investigate the impacts of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, magnesium and RE elements on low wind power ductile iron tensile properties, yield strength, yield curves strength, spheroidization rate, elongation and impact value, in this way, this research will finally get an influence curve and 35 linear equations which can help to find out the best content range that each element should located in, for good and stable mechanical properties; furthermore, orthogonal experiments will be used for professional theory and mathematical analysis of each curve, and largest influencing factors will be obtained in different mechanical properties.Fitting results indicates that, carbon content is controlled within 3.8% ~ 4.1%; a controlled silicon content is 1.4%~2.6%; the level of manganese is controlled within 0.1%~0.3%; sulfur content is controlled within 0.002%~0.012%; a controlled magnesium content is between 1.4% and 2.6%; the level of tombarthite is controlled within 0.1%~0.3%, these can guarantee that all the mechanical performance indexes are always in good state.Orthogonal fitting results shows that, Carton has the greatest effect on tensile property, the influencing factor range is 8.853; Manganese affects yield strength most and the influencing factor range is 7.794; Carbon also has the biggest impact on spheroidization rate, the influencing factor range is 0.485; Sulfur has the largest influence on elongation and the affecting factor range is 0.317; Manganese has enormous implication to the shock value, the impact factor range is 0.458.
