With the accelerating pace of urban construction, garbage disposal become environmental problems to be resolved. While a growing number of aged refuse not only take up a lot of valuable land, but also cannot be resource utilization. Aged refuse has been formed after many years of landfill, its toxic and hazardous substances have been completely degraded, its organic matter content has increased, its moisture content has decreased and fuel heating value has increased accordingly. To build a scenic China and protect the environment, we need to do in-depth study on these misplaced resources. It is an important significance to turn waste into treasure.In this paper, screening the aged refuse of Dalian Mao Ying landfill, to analyze the physical and chemical composition, providing a theoretical basis for its utilization; make landscaping cultivating soil with the screen underflow,make burning experiments with oversize product; leachate pretreatment with environmental mineral materials and preparation of struvite. These experiments provide basic experimental data and technical support for aged refuse reuse.Firstly, analysing of physical and chemical composition with the stock garbage of Mao Ying landfill, the results showed that the stock garbage indeed is aged refuse, and it could be recycled.Secondly, urban greening cultivated soil cultivation experiments and burning experiments were made respectively with screen underflow and oversize product of aged refuse. Improved the screen underflow with peat and lignite for making urban greening cultivating soil. Planting ryegrass with urban greening cultivating soil which had been made, the results showed that adding modifier could significantly improve plant growth conditions, and peat as a soil improver was the best thing. The combustible had high calorific value in oversize product of aged refuse. The value was determined to more than10000kJ/kg.These combustible fully met the burning requirements, and we could add it to burn garbage as auxiliary fuel. Depending on the proportion of1:9to add the combustible to burn garbage to make experiments, temperature changes in each part of the incinerator were observed. Although the total amount of fuel employed in the experiment was less, add ratio was not high, but can cause the furnace temperature increased, which has some significance to research of the combustible of aged refuse as auxiliary fuel in the future.Finally, using environmental mineral materials pretreated landfill leachate which was produced with landfill process,and making potted plant experiment with struvite of compound fertilizer. Application of fly ash, the slag of waste incineration and perlite, vermiculite as seed to pretreat leachate, the effect of extracting struvite and removing ammonia was obvious. To determine the role of struvite fertilizer, making experiments to plant ryegrass and clover showed that adding the right amount of struvite fertilizer had promoted effect on plant growth.
