Recently,the determination of mental ions and organic drug molecules have beenpaid more and more attentions. Capillary Electrophoresis(CE) as a high performanceliquid separation technology, was developed in the1980s. It has many excellentadvantages, such as smaller sampling amount, faster analytical velocity,higher separationefficiency, less consumption of reagents, simpler operation and easier automation and soon. And now, it has become one of the most important branches of analytical chemistryand widely used in biological、food and environmental analysis.1. Using15mmol/L imidazole as the background absorbance provider and the carrierelectrolyte solution,2mmol/L glcollic acid as the complexing agents, Ca2+, Li+, Na+andMg2+are successfully separated and determined.The detection limit of Ca2+, Li+, Na+andMg2+are0.01mg/L,0.01mg/L,0.01mg/L,0.02mg/L separately. Using15mmol/Limidazole as the background absorbance provider and the carrier electrolyte solution,2mmol/L glcollic acid and2mmol/L18-crown-6ether as the complexing agents, K+, Na+,Li+, Mg2+, Ca2+and NH4+are successfully separated and determined.The detection limitof K+, Na+, Li+, Mg2+, Ca2+and NH4+are0.015mg/L,0.012mg/L,0.01mg/L,0.01mg/L,0.02mg/L,0.1mg/L separately. There have no interference in presence of Fe3+, Zn2+,Cu2+, Pb2+, Ni+, Cr3+, Cd2+and Hg2+. The significance test of method of analyzing NH4+shows that there is no significant variance between CE and traditional method(nessler’sreagent method); The significance test of method of analyzing Ca2+and Mg2+shows thatthere is no significant variance between CE and traditional method(complexometrymethod).The results shows that the traditional method can be replaced by the new methodCE which is time saving,economic,environmental-friendly and avoiding the use of highlytoxic reagent HgCl2.2. Using15mmol/L imidazole as background absorbance provider, Cd2+, Cr3+, Ni2+,Pb2+and Zn2+are successfully separated and determined. The results shows that Cd2+,Cr3+, Ni2+, Pb2+and Zn2+would be determined with good liner range, low detection limit, low RSD and high recovery. And there have no interference in presence of K+, Na+, Li+,Mg2+, Ca2+, NH4+.3. A new background electrolyte2-Mercaptobenzimidazole was synthesized andcharacterized. A new method was establised to analyze Hg2+using2-mercapto-benzimidazole as background electrolyte.The results shows that the Hg2+was determinedwith a good liner range, low detection limit, low RSD and high recovery. And there haveno interference in presence of Fe3+and Cu2+.4. A method for the determination of piroxicam by capillary electrophoresis has beenestablished: fused silica capillary column75μm×60cm, injection pressure10mbar,electrokinetic injection5s, separation voltage24kV, capillary temperature20℃, thedetection wavelength was254nm, the running buffer fluid is0.01mol/L borax solution.T test and F test were designed between CE method and HPLC method. Results show thatthe linear range piroxicam sample from1.0×10-6to1.0×10-2mol/L, the recovery is98.66%and RSD=2.1%. And there are no significant differences between the twomethods. The results showed CE has high separation efficiency, relatively short analysistime and low sample consumption.5. The benzomidazole was synthesized and characterized. And its UV spectraproperties were investigated. All the data would be very useful to the later study of metalion determination using benzimidazole as background absorbance by CE method. Amethod for the determination of vancomycin by HPLC has been established, which isvery useful to the later analyzing of vancomycin by CE method.
