With the shortage of resources, making full use of biomass has far-reaching significance. Cellulose is a kind of typical biomass resource which is inexhaustible, renewable resource in nature. Natural luffa is a kind of high yield, cheap and easy to get natural biomass materials. The cellulose content in luffa is high up to60%and lignin content quite lower, we can choose it as natural cellulose to research the application of natural luffa.Ionic liquid as a new green solvent, has good a lot of properties:designability of anion and cation, according to which can synthesize different kind of ionic liquids; extremely low vapor pressure, volatile weak, not due to evaporation and pollution of the environment and wasting reagents; easy separation from the products, energy saving. The study of ionic liquids is a good solvent for microcrystalline cellulose, and the basic composition of Luffa is cellulose. The research and application of ionic liquid solubility of luffa.1-allyl-3-methyl imidazole chloride was synthesized ([AMIM]C1),1-butyl-3-methyl imidazole chloride ([BMIM]C1),1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazole bromide salts ([EMIM]Br), and the structural characterization of these three kinds of ionic liquids show that synthetic material is expected product.Each content of natural luffa points are determined by the national standard method, the cellulose content is61.52%, the content of lignin is6.74%. The use of three kinds of ionic liquid synthesized under the same conditions of time and temperature of dissolution luffa, the dissolution rate of the natural luffa in three kinds of ionic liquids, up to8%, in the [AMIM]Cl were measured in the dissolution of Luffa before and after treatment. By polarized light microscopy to observe the dissolution process of ionic liquid on Luffa, by dissolving before and after FT-IR, SEM and XRD analysis of dissolution mechanism.Luffa/[AMIM]Cl system for preparing regenerated cellulose film:first of all, the preparation of ionic liquid and cellulose in homogeneous solution, and the preparation of cellulose membrane; then, on the dissolution of the loofah basic properties of SEM analysis and evaluation of cellulose membrane.Acidolysis in Luffa/[BMIM]Cl system, firstly natural luffa dissolved, then with a concentration of10%sulfuric acid, luffa degration with the amount of residual sugar38%.
