Centroid measurement systems and related parameters in precision instruments, weapons systems, aerospace, construction machinery and other fields are used. centroid and moment of inertia are important parameters that affect the operating characteristics of components and systems. With the development of science and technology, centroid measurement accuracy of flying objects,weapons systems, car assembly and mechanical properties of stability, handling, mobility and shot has a pivotal role. In the machinery industry, there are a lot of moment of inertia of rotating parts need to do a fixed axle were determined, in order to determine its working performance and features. Therefore, the research and development of center of mass and moment of inertia of the measurement system is of great significance.This thesis subverts the traditional measurement method of center of mass, this paper puts forward a new measuring method of center of mass and the torsional pendulum method of measuring moment of inertia are expounded. Adopt cross blade combined with lifting platform structure and sensor technology, design a new centroid measuring system. The moment of inertia measuring system based on virtual instrument technology, moment of inertia of the Lab VIEW software is applied to implement the design of the measurement system.Measurement system integrating computer technology, information processing technology, microelectronics technology, high-precision sensing technology at an organic whole.Paper centroid measurement system in order to design and realize the moment of inertia measuring system as the goal, the main research content includes: 1. The analysis of the center of mass and moment of inertia measurement principle and mathematical model; 2. The center of mass and moment of inertia of the measurement system of the design of mechanical mechanism; 3. The center of mass and moment of inertia of the measurement system hardware design; 4. The center of mass and moment of inertia of the measuement system software design; 5. The experimental test and the analysis of experimental results.Finally, the center of mass and moment of inertia measuring system made a series of experiment, verified the stability and reliability of the center of mass measurement system theory, the moment of inertia measurement system measuring accuracy is higher, speed, good stability and easy to operate.
