Electromagnetic Wire Rope Damage Detection Method Research

In the current society with the rapid development of economy, more and more application in the real life production, wire rope, such as port, hoisting, coal mine, has been widely used, both in the elevator etc. But with wire rope use for a long time in the production of life, the steel wire rope inevitably occur corrosion, wear, such as broken wire damage, if not in time to find and deal with these problems, it will cause lost production and personnel security threat, so whether can safe use of wire rope has increasingly become the focus of attention, because of its use directly about staff’s life safety and normal work can be completed smoothly. So, research on damage detection method of wire rope is very urgent and necessary. Wire rope damage detection for accurate evaluation of the results of the current using status and provide a scientific basis for the remaining time, ensure that the steel wire rope in the production of safe, stable, long-term use in the life.In this thesis, first of all, the structure of wire rope and all kinds of damage and its characteristics were analyzed, and the damage detection mainly for wire rope in use process of the common two types of injury: a metal wire rope defects section of type, the other is a local defect type of wire rope. Focuses on the two damage types of qualitative, positioning and quantitative detection, based on the detection of magnetic flux leakage signal preprocessing and quantitative calculation, and then the damage quantity and broken wires signal of leakage magnetic field and metallic cross-sectional area loss, the relationship between local defect and metallic cross-sectional area defect detection.Second, the steel rope damage detection system based on integrated hall element, the status of the wire rope damage information acquired wire rope used at present state and the rest of the time, used for wire rope safety assessment to provide effective basis. Based on the use of wire rope safety rules and standards development wire rope using state evaluation system, realize the recognition of the wire rope damage quantitatively, and make estimates for the remainder of the time. Finally summarizes the research results and show, put forward the following basic idea of wire rope testing technology research, namely to achieve a variety of ways to detect damage type and wire rope.
