The photoelectric property of conductive polymeric material is closely related to its preparation process, but the reproducibility and amplification effect during tranditional process have always been intricate troubles. The development of microreator offers a new strategy for solving those tough problems. The microreactor is possessed of many advantages, such as higher heat and mass transfer efficiencies, easy to realize continuous operation as well as increasing output via number-up, which shows broad research space and development potential in the territory of synthesis of conductive polymeric material. In this dissertation, synthesis of poly(9,9-dioctylfiuorene) in microreactor via Kumada chain-growth polycondensation is studied, the main contents are as follows:(1) The effects of monomer type and reaction conditions on the yield of halogen-magnesium exchange reaction in batch reactor are studied. 2-bromo-7-iodo-9,9-dioctylfluorene is finally choosen as the initial material of synthesis route, and optimized reaction conditions are obtained.(2) Commercially available microfluidics fittings and tubes are utilized to construct user-friendly and economical microreactor, including homogeneous phase microreactor, droplet-based microreactor and gas-liquid-liquid droplet-based microreactor. The mixed capacity in Tee and effects of viscosity and flow rate of carrier fluid on droplet size and stability of droplet formation and movement have been studied with dyed THF as fluid. The reasonable operation parameters for implementing reaction in microreactor are obtained.(3) Halogen-magnesium exchange reaction is transferred into microreactor, and effects of reaction time, flow rate and temperature on yield are studied. It turns out reaction yield in microreactor is higher than that in batch reactor, and there is no side reaction even under room temperature condition.(4) The result of polycondensation in different types of microreactor is studied. It turns out that droplet-based microreactor could be successfully used for synthesis of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) with low PDI, but the molecular weight is unsatisfactory.
