Research Of Control System For The Machinetool Grinding Center Based On PMAC

In the field of mechanical processing, cutting tool quality directly affect the quality of machining workpiece, which also restricts the cutting technology of a country and even the development of the overall level of manufacturing. In recent years, along with the continuous development and process of science and technology, in terms of tool sharpening, foreign appear the special tool grinding machine, which is dedicated to grinding the high precision and reliability, high quality cutting tools to ensure that the processing of the workpiece with high quality. The exploration of development at the cutting tool of grinding machine in our country started relatively late,also has a large gap with the foreign countries.the research and exploration of the machine tool grinding center has practical significance for the promotion and development of equipment manufacturing industry of our country.For cutting tool grinding machine, Control system is the core part, directly related to the stability and the dynamic characteristics of machine tool processing, affects the quality of the processed workpiece.Aimed at this control system for machine tool grinding center, this paper mainly carry on research and development from two aspects of hardware structure and software structure of the control system.Control system adopts industrial personal computer(Advantech IPC-610L) as the upper machine, supplement with DSP as the processing core of Tubro PMAC2 PCI Multi-axis motion control card, build the construction of "IPC + PMAC" open architecture CNC system.The control software by using the object-oriented VB programming language developed with good man-machine interface in the Windows on the XP platform.Finally, using the PMAC own Pewin32 Pro user software, the PID parameter setting was conducted by the control system, so that the whole machine has good dynamic response characteristics.the positioning precision of grinding machine working table were analyzed by the experimental detection, which compensate the error produced on.
