Planning Study On Ceramic Balls Shop Peening Of The Super Strength Alloy Steel Part

This passage is to analyze difference of the effect of super strength steel’s surface peening which applied different shot peening methods by the test of macro morphology、surface hardness and the residual stress distribution of the super strength steel’s surface after they applied to the shot peening methods. It turns out that Ceramic balls shot peening process have a big effect of the improvement of fatigue life of super strength steel, It is better in the reduce of the surface roughness compared with the conventional cast steel shot peening strengthening technology; The hardness of the parts’ surface after applied Ceramic balls shot peening is tiny higher; compressive stress layer increases by 20% compared with the Cast steel shot peening method.
