A petrochemical enterprises has a crude oil refining unit with double suction centrifugal pump being its transportation.The pump vibrate seriously and the vibration affect the safety of the enterprises.To cure this problem,the reasons of vibration is analyzed.The work done is theoretically valuable and has practical engineering value.Frequency spectrum is analyzed after investigating work site, choosing vibration measuring point and measuring vibration of the working pump and find out what cause double suction pump vibration through the analysis.Meanwhile,vibration change of double suction pump under variable load is conveyed and the main causes of excessive vibration are identified.Respecting the actual situation,different repair plan and reforming measures are given respectively for different pump group. The author tests vibration of the pump groups again after the repair plan and reforming measures are acted. Results show that the vibration of the pump group is obviously reduced and has reached the control standard of vibration.The pump group can work long and safely,so the repair achieves good effects.
