The adhesive/ epoxy/ steel composite structure of three layers and its application in pipe were investigated in this paper. Through the flat vulcanizing machine and injection molding machine for preparing epoxy coating steel sample simulation. By hand stripping layer and immersion tests to determine the initial structure of the three layer adhesion; The adhesive strip was soaked in acid, alkali, salt and water solution, placed on the atmospheric environment, to determine the three kinds of coating steel corrosion resistance; By using scanning electron microscope(SEM) observation of the epoxy coating steel strip surface,to determine whether the epoxy coating steel strip meet the pipeline processing.Determination of thick layer strip with electronic universal testing machine, to compare the three kinds of coating steel strip anti stripping performance; The appearance of MRP pipe was been observed, ring stiffness and flexibility were determined, in order to determine the product conforms to the standard, Judging by oven experiments pipe resin layer was bonded well; Combined with high temperature treatment and immersion method to determine the source of the epoxy coating steel strip volatile, foaming reason and solution.The results of the study show that, the adhesive/ epoxy/ steel composite structure of three layers could form a better bonding effect;Adhesive/ epoxy/ steel composite structure of three layers of corrosion resistance could be better water on the steel sheet, and could form a better bonding effect.Epoxy coating steel soaked in acid, alkali, salt and water solution of glue, epoxy steel corrosion resistance was better than sand coating strip, sand coating strip was better than the ordinary coating strip steel.Atmospheric corrosion test showed that the resistance corrosion of epoxy steel strip was best, sandblasting coating steel was better,ordinary coating steel was general.Electron microscopy experiments showed that epoxy coating steel surface could form a layer of dense epoxy coating, and this coating could suit for pipe forming.Experiment data show that the epoxy coating steel was highest,sand coating steel strip force was the second, ordinary steel was the third in anti stripping.The outer surface of the MRP pipe which was made by epoxy coating steel strip, was smooth and clear ripple, but there was some bubbles inner. The strip strength, stiffness and flexible ring according to the standard CJ/T 225-2011.The experimental results of oven showed that inner layer and the outer layer of polyethylene bonding intact, no defects between the polyethylene layer. A gap existed between the epoxy and coating, it would absorb the moisture in a long time, and the water vaporization bubble formation when it was been heated. By removing water and high temperature(150℃-190℃) treatment epoxy coating steel strip could eliminate the gap between coating layer and the epoxy layer, solved the epoxy coating steel heating foaming problem.
