Petroleum industry is the pillar industry of the national economy, its development directly affects the future development of the economy in our country. Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of our country’s economy and China’s entry into the WTO, our country’s national economy has entered a new era. Economic globalization and integration bring to our country enterprise new opportunities at the same time also brought pressure and challenges. Compared with foreign petrochemical enterprises, our country’s enterprises are relatively backward in technology and production planning management. In order to improve the international competitiveness of China’s petrochemical enterprises, we must improve the shortage of the production planning management. Aiming at the characteristics of our country’s petrochemical enterprise, this thesis aims on the modeling and optimization research of petrochemical enterprise production planning.Firstly, This thesis summarizes the characteristics of our country’s petrochemical industry at present, and the problems in production planning. Introduces the present situation of the production planning at home and abroad, as well as petrochemical industry production plan related professional knowledge and concepts. Then, based on the analysis of the influence factors on the refining unit yield, this thesis uses BP neural network method build the yield model. In addition, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of petrochemical enterprise production, and establishes a linear programming optimization model. Finally, this thesis designs and implements the production plan optimization system with Z petrochemical enterprises as the research object. Then, one example is given to prove the practicability of the system.
