This paper summarizes the current situation of copper mineral processing technology.On the basis of the detailed study about the current situation of copper ore dressing process and characteristics, the optimized way of mineral processing technology for Lala copper is put forward by experimental research and process research.By the analysis of crushing process, the optimized scheme of crushing process based on the principle of "more crushing and less grinding" is put forward. According to the test results, the optimized scheme of grinding process which can improve the single mineral liberation degree is proposed by adding the second section regrinding and using the method of accurate ball load addition. By analyzing the results of the experiment and studying on the process, the optimized method of flotation process is set forth to improve the comprehensive utilization of associated mineral resources.According to the optimized scheme of mineral processing technology, the technical transformation of Lala copper process is carried out. By investigation and summary comparison, the conclusion shows that the index of mineral processing technology has improved evidently. On the condition that the concentrate grade is not decreased, the copper recovery rate is increased by2.37%, the cobalt recovery rate is increased by 6%, the molybdenum recovery rate is increased by 10% and Iron ore concentrate production is increased by10%.The results of this research and the optimized scheme of Lala copper mineral processing technology offer important reference value for similar ore dressing plants.
