As the level of automation in the steel industry continues to increase,higher requirements of plate loading and unloading process is put forward.Therefore, design and research on automatic loading and unloading steelservo system makes sense.The background of research in this thesis is a project of steel plateloading and unloading transfer machine in hot-rolled finishing processbelonging a company. First, the article establishes a mathematical model ofthe servo motor, and on this basis, further establishes the model of thecurrent loop, the speed loop and position loop of plate loading andunloading servo system. Secondly, the thesis calculates tricyclic parametersof loading and unloading servo system based on actual parameters of plateloading and unloading transfer machine and does simulation analysis, whiledoing MATLAB simulation of PMSM servo system using space vectoralgorithm. In addition, in order to study PID parameters tuning of the servosystem, the thesis studies quantum harmony search optimization algorithm;tests the performance of this optimization algorithm which has been appliedto adjust the PID parameters of servo system. Finally, the thesis designs thetransfer machine control system, including the hardware configuration andsoftware programming, and the parameter tuning method is applied to plateloading and unloading system. Experimental results carried out in the steelsheet transfer machine prove that after parameters tuning, the transfercontrol system has better stability, better accuracy and has goodpracticability compared to conventional PID control.
