| Electrical discharge machining (EDM) technology has been an important part in modern industrial manufacturing technology, EDM technology plays an important role in the semiconductor materials, super-hard ultra-soft materials, micro and nano machining and processing of a large mirror. With the continuous development of modern industry, people request for high-quality, high precision and high efficiency in EDM technology. Intelligent control theory, high-speed chip, digital technology and the continuous development of the theory of electromagnetic compatibility, the EDM technology has brought new opportunities. Green power and intelligent power has become the mainstream of today's EDM pulse power supply, the EDM pulse power will be developed smart, efficient, energy saving, environmental protection in the future.The paper researches theory, process and characteristics of EDM , analyzes pulse power supply of domestic and international situation , designs a new type of EDM pulse power. Compared with the traditional power, the new power of pulse adjustable parameters broader; discharge gap detection more accurately; control system response faster, electromagnetic compatibility better and the system more stable.The problem that the traditional pulse power for small range of pulse parameters adjustable can not match electronic materials processing and processing parameters, this paper applies pulse generator based on direct digital synthesis (DDS). Use the principle of conversion phase and amplitude , modulate multi-frequency, multi-pulse width waveforms.The problem that discharging gap state detection is not accurate and control system response lag, this paper proposes the gap based on the single pulse detection method, the control system uses DSP chips as the main processor, and the introduction of a new type of DSP real-time operating system, effectively improve the system real-time and accuracy.Meanwhile, the paper also researches on electromagnetic compatibility of EDM pulse power, mainly including PCB board and interconnect electromagnetic compatibility in the system, analysis deeply electromagnetic environment of the system, through application of the theory of electromagnetic compatibility and electromagnetic shielding calculation parameters, the design of electromagnetic compatibility system fully meets the national standard. |
