The traditional mechanical processing technology abided by "positioning-clamping- processing" operating mode.In this mode, how to find the box-parts'position precisely by designing and processing requirement is becoming the primary problem of processing qualified parts. For processing of mass production, generally uses special jig to locate parts. workers look for position for single small batch production artifically, but it is hard to ensure accuracy and efficiency.To solve this problem, I use a automatic localizating and processing technologies, researched the technology of three-dimensional depth of non-contact measurement of binocular structured light measuring technique that is used to find the right position of the box part on a horizontal machining center, the position included the angle and displacement of parts alignment, thus eliminating the time of the designing of precision fixtures and manual alignment.This method saves the locate parts'time and improves the efficiency of production for many species,one-piece,small batch mode.This method is as follows: the box parts are not predetermined the attitude and the exact location on the horizontal machining centers. Just uses a simple, low accuracy, low cost, general fixture to clamp the box parts on the machine table nonaccuratly. Then optical projector is used to project a certain pattern of structured light onto the side of the box part of a surface, the picture of light bar three-dimensional is produced on the surface of the box part. Two CCD cameras get the distorted two-dimensional optical picture.The pictures are inputed to the software that is designed by myself,to get the its optical center of the image, and transforms optical center coordinates of the image into three-dimensional world coordinates by Matlab, then uses a series of mathematical calculations to obtain the required amount of rotation and displacement, the box part is in the correct position by rotating and moving .Finally, the automatic locating and processing is simulatied by VC + + and OpenGL.
