Assel rolling mill with high-precision, expanding its product range is the main purpose of development it. But Assel rolling mill only product for middle and large size thin-walled tube. And when product thin-walled tube, it is easy to occur a series of problems, such as"tube tail triangle","rolling crack and stopping steel tube", lower production efficiency.So, this paper uses rolling process without mandrel, based on former Assel rolling mill, for the purpose to improve the rolling process, and satisfy with the small size tube production requirements. Based on the reasonable rolling process by experiment test, it's going to do further study on that feed angle how to effect production efficiency and rolling force, preliminary exploration without mandrel skew rolling process rolling force calculation model, metal flow, stress change, plastic deformation, etc.This subject mainly set about to the follow: First, use Marc finite element analysis software simulation rolling process without mandrel, optimize rolling process parameter, meet larger production size requirements to reduce diameter. Second, through the finite element software preliminarily determined experimental parameters, and than using the experiment result to test the simulation result and theory calculation result with rolling force and moment. Finally really find the rolling force and moment theory calculation formulas suitable skew rolling, breakthrough the limitations of longitudinal rolling formula have been used. Three, through the test, regression to research the simulated analysis results of feed angle how to effect rolling stress, circumferential and axial rolling speed and sliding coefficient, rolling force and rolling moment. Especially for in comparison Assel rolling tube reducing mill circumferential and axial sliding coefficient curve to bucket roller sliding coefficient curve. Based on The experimental results, theory and simulation analysis, optimizing skew rolling process.
