The winding hoist plays an important role in the hoisting and transporting system, and it's one of the four type of frequently-used mining equipments. To ameliorate the underdeveloped state of CAD design for the winding hoist in country and improve performance index of the appliance, the paper has lucubrated the structure of the main shaft equipment which is the key part in the appliance, and has accomplished the 2d and 3d parametric design for the appliance, and has completed the statics analysis for the main shaft equipment by applying the engineering theory of the finite-element analysis.The parametric design for Winding Hoist adopts Object-oriented programming method by using Visual C++ at Windows platform ,and takes AutoCAD and SolidWorks as graphics support software. It achieves AutoCAD parametric plotting by taking command files as connector. It has completed the further development for SolidWorks by citing API function, and has packaged it in the CSolidWorks class, then it controls Solidwors launching, closing, making drawings, entity references, feature engineering, parts assembly etc by controlling the CSolidWorks class, finally, the system exports the engineering drawing and physical model of the main shaft equipment, meanwhile, automatically generates the design calculation specification for the wingding hoist in the form of Word.Through the graphical connector between ANSYS and SolidWorks, inputing physical model of the main shaft equipment which is generated by the parametric design into ANSYS, gets the maximum stress, the maximum displacement and the distribution of displacement and stress, therefore, can improve the designing reliability.The parametric design can shorten new product exploiting cycle, improve the design efficiency, enforce product design with the advantage of reasonable structure, accurate calculation, high reliability by combining with the finite-element analysis, increase the product's competitive power. So, the system has wide application prospects in the hoisting and transporting industry.
