Kaolin is an important non-metallic mineral resource, which is widely used in ceramic, refractory material, paper, rubber and plastic industry. This article has carried on thorough careful research to the Zhanjiang kaolin.The research shows that Zhanjiang kaolin belongs to weathering sedimentary kaolin deposit.The content of quartz sand in the ore is 87.16%, and kaolin is 12.84%. The main problem in the processing use process exists is that the washed kaolin viscosity is generally high.The washed kaolin has certain disparity with the overseas kleit, and unable to meet the high-speed needs of the production of coated paper, which affect the economic benefits. The article first briefed the Zhanjiang kaolin resources condition as well as the kaolin processing use present situation, and then on the basis of Zhanjiang kaolin characteristic, theoretical analysis viscosity essence and influence viscosity factor. In former research, most people only noted the chemistry dispersion, some scholars also conducted physical dispersion method, but few people carried on change material character and so on itself granularity, shape research. Based on the combination of the existing theories on the basis of viscosity,this article proposed carries on the grinding, the extrusion and the classification processing method to the kaolin. The method of lower viscosity of the mechanism is to change the shape of kaolin. That is changing particles-the permian flaky particles stripping rules into a single chip, structuring and marginalzing the curly particles start, which can reduce friction and reduce viscosity purposes finaly. The present paper research provides the scientific data reference for the scene production, and the science reference foundation for the further research.
