A new household cleaner was prepared with amphoteric surfactant sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate in this paper. Through a series of characterization tests and comparison, we proved that sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate had many excellent performances, such as high surface activity, emulsifying capacity, foaming ability, and good solubility in strong acid and alkaline environments.In reference to the relevant standard method, we established a decontamination procedure of kitchen cleaner. The composition dirt ingredient was closer to the oil pollution in kitchen; the dirt of ageing temperature was optimized, which made the dirt glue on the surface more firmly. UV-resistant to climatic test Chamber was used as aging tool, through ultraviolet radiation, dirt aging became more fully, and the State was much closer to the real dirt. Comparison test indicated that this method was a good method to distinguish the decontamination capacity of detergent products. The experimental results were consistent with the real kitchen dirt clean testing.Sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate was added as main ingredients to prepare a new formula of toilet cleaner. The formula did not use strong acid, such as hydrochloric acid, to replace citric acid. After addition of appropriate amount ofsodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate in formula system, the system showed excellent synergies. When the addition of sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate was 1.0wt%, the formula system had the best performance. Not only detergency fairly was same to marketable products, physicochemical and stability were qualified, but also showed excellent removal ability of rust.By addition of sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate and testing the cleaning power, the outstanding kitchen detergent formula was filtered out. Through analysis the cleaning power and formula components in variation between content, the key components of formula was found out. Comprehensive analysis demonstrated that have excellence in synergies. When the content of sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate was 4.0wt%, the diethylene glycol monobutyl ether of original formula could be completely replaced. Sample 10# exhibited outstanding performance at cleaning ability and physicochemical stability. Because there haven't organic solvents, it has better odor. Comparison the surface tension and emulsification capability of samples 10# with 11#, which not added sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate (other ingredients are the same), the surface tension and CMC of the two samples were basically the same, but sample 10# had significantly strong emulsifying capacity than sample 11#. It showed that the emulsion of kitchen cleaner had a close correlation with its wash ability.Toilet and kitchen detergent are important household cleaning products. The present research used amphoteric surfactant sodium-N-lauryl-β-iminodipropionate, which had special performance, to develop the weak acid toilet cleaner formula and no organic solvents kitchen cleaner formula. Besides basic features, the new formula had lower corrosive, and more environmentally friendly. Because we did not use organic solvents, the formula cost reduced by 10%.Detergent formula consists of surfactants and various additives, because the presence of additives, it is not a simple system of surfactant solutions, existing data couldn't reflect its surface chemical properties. In the future, if the cleaning system for is studied deeply and combined with regular performance test; it would contribute to developing more secure and efficient household cleaning products. |
