| Sulfur and phosphor is comparatively harmful elements in the iron,it is difficult to removal the two elements by ore dressing and smelting.If these two elements in the smelting steel are higher,it will seriously affect its chemical and physical properties. High-sulfur and high-phosphorus iron ore as a refractory iron ore resources have been treasure by Ore dressing and smelting workers.From the study on process mineralogy of the iron concentrate,its iron grade is 57.89%, with higher content of sulfur and phosphor,the grade is 0.46% and 0.45%.The existing process and equipment Luoci concentrator can not further reduce its content of sulfur and phosphor.To solve this problem,we need do some beneficiation experimental research on reducing the content of sulfur and phosphor of Luoci iron ore.First we use magnetic separation and gravity separation or magneto-gravitational separation to deal with the Luoci iron concentrate,the final results isn't very well,but we can see that fine grinding is needed in reducing the content of sulfur and phosphor of Luoci iron ore.Then we deal with the fine grinding iron ore of Luoci by selective flocculation or magnetic separation—flotation.We can get high quality iron concentrate by magnetic separation-flotation flowsheet,its grade has obviously increased and the content of sulfur redured to less than 0.15%.However,it is difficult to control the experiments of selective flocculation owing to the speed of flotation machine and the other problems, The reduction of phosphor of selective flocculation is very poor,we need to do further experimental studies on it.But the experiments of reverse flotation technology by oleic acid can reduce the content of phosphor very well,the other indicators of mineral processing all meet the contract requirements,so we finally decided to use the technological process of magnetic separation-the sulfur flotation-reverse floatation of dephosphorization.Concentrator is a major water users, water conservation and reuse of return water has obvious energy saving effect.The backwater of flotation requires high quality,pharmaceutical residues in some backwater will have adverse effects.The flotation of Luoci iron concentrate use NaOH to adjust pH of pulp for the backwater of Flotation plant. Through a series of studies in strong alkaline conditions, we can achieve the targets of the sulfur reduction and dephosphorization of Luoci iron ore.After a series of conditional experiments to determine the better conditions. Under these conditions, the grinding fineness 95% for the -280, we can get the selective recovery results:the rate of concentrate is 85.12%, the iron grade is 62.99%, recovery rate is 92.04%,the respectively content of sulfur and phosphor were 0.145% and 0.201%,the result reached the experimental target.We can see the content of sulfur and phosphor of the final concentrate will increase with the return of the water from the results of the backwater exploration of Luoci iron concentrate. According to the actual situation,we made some improvements for reference. The results of floatation tailings by chemical mineral processing is poor,so it haven't recycling value.In summary,we can get good target by using the technological process of magnetic separation-the sulfur flotation-reverse floatation to deal with Luoci iron concentrate. |
