There are about 3/4 usable parts in the high boiling leavings of commercial scale producing long-chain fatty amine. It is difficult for reusing them with traditional distillation process. This knotty problem of separating usable parts from high boiling leavings is overcomed effectively by introducing high separating technique and equipment—molecular distillation technique. This dissertation discuss in detail the optimization course of four main factors of molecular distillation technique in treating high boiling leavings of long-chain fatty amine:temperature of distillation; operation pressure; feed temperature and speed; rpm of wiper rollers, as well as the optimization course of mathylating reaction; quaterisation; formulation and application. These optimized techniques make up a integrated resolving plan effectively reusing high boiling leavings of long-chain fatty amine. The plan of commercial scale design is determined through lab experiment and expand test. The cost and economic benefit of whole plan is analyzed.
