Digital watermarking technology is a new research field in international academe these years. It uses watermarking which is embedded in protected digital production to prove copyright adscription or track infringement. Geo-spatial data which describes the earth is important information, also is the base of national fundamental facilities and geo-science study. Along with the rapid development and extensive application, digital watermarking technology in geo-spatial data security, especially in vector geo-spatial data, has brought people's high recognition.Focusing on vector geo-spatial data digital watermarking technology, the vector geo-spatial data watermarking algorithms, attacking methods and evaluation model are studies in this paper. The main works and results are as follows:(1) The principle and characteristic of vector geo-spatial data digital watermarking technology are analyzed, which is the theoretical basis for the study of vector geo-spatial data watermarking.(2) A spatial domain vector geo-spatial data watermarking algorithm based on gray image watermarking is presented. Base on the algorithm, an improved algorithm which can enhance data accuracy is presented. Furthermore, a spatial domain vector geo-spatial data blind watermarking algorithm is presented.(3) Vector geo-spatial data watermarking attacking methods are summed up and analyzed. The classification for attacking methods is presented.(4) Vector geo-spatial data watermarking evaluation model which focuses on user is presented. The model fulfils user's practical demand, and the evaluation method for watermarking algorithm has practical significance and use value.(5) Based on vector geo-spatial data watermarking algorithm, attacking methods and evaluation model, a software validation system about watermarking algorithm, attacking and evaluation has been designed.
