Some fixed observation stations, called as base stations, at least three generally, are set uniformly and sparsely in a wider area consisting of a base station network. One or several of these base stations calculate and broadcast the correction information, and provide real time error correction for the satellite position users in this area. These are the definition of the network RTK technique. It overcomes the weaknesses of the traditional RTK technique and enlarges the distance of RTK position and improves the positioning result and reliability. The network RTK system centralizes the GPS positioning technique, computer technique, data base technique and communication technique, which represents the latest developing trend of the GPS positioning technique.This thesis mostly studies the compression algorithm and the software realization of the observation file in the format of RINEX and designs the data transmission software of the network RTK.Firstly, the thesis introduces the fundamental principle and system structure of the network RTK technique, sum up the distribution of the base station, the basic characteristic and request of the designing of the base station network, and the analyses to the positioning accuracy of the mobile station.Secondly, the thesis emphatically realize a new and efficient ,real time and lossless compression algorithm which can apply to network rtk system. Besides, the thesis operates the four familiar compression algorithms by programming, and compares the new proposed algorithm with the four familiar compression algorithms in the compression efficiency and velocity. Through the experiment, we can get the new algorithm bring forward from the thesis can meet require to satellite measurement data real-time commpress in network RTK. And this new algorithm better than other four familiar compression algorithms in the compression efficiency and velocity. The new algorithm bring forward from the thesis can achieve about 75% stable compression ratio and need the least unit time.Finally, studied the structures and key techniques of the data communication system in the network RTK. Designed and researched the point-to-point data transmission software which between base station and control center.
