Aerjin metallogenic belt in Qinghai Province has superior ore-forming geological condition, abundant mineral resource, and the great ore prospecting potential. However, the ore prospecting is very difficult because of the harsh natural environment and inconvenient transportation of the high and cold mountain areas in West China. Giving full play of remote sensing technology superiority and the leading function in this area is a rapid method that is very effective and applicability to conduct the synthesis mineralization forecast research and direct next round geology prospecting work.This article applied the remote sensing information separating extraction technology to extract alteration information related to the mental mineralization and the salts mineral which used the ETM multi-spectra remote sensing data, through the remote sensing image characteristic and statistical analysis of the band data characteristic value, combining with measurement and study of field rock mineral spectrum. Base on the region mineralization geology background and the mineralization condition generalized analysis, it conducts the ore prospecting research. The major findings are as follows:1. In order to enhance the usability of the research results, this article first carried on the comprehensive system remote sensing investigate interpretation and mineralization information extraction of Aerjin metallogenic belt in Qinghai Province with 1/5 ten thousand scale used ETM multi-spectra remote sensing data, then provided the new basic information and scientific basis for deploying the new turn of geological prospecting work in this area.2. Based on the studies of the geological data and the conventional image characteristic of rock stratum, through typical land sector field route investigation and geological profile survey, as well as the specimen thin section analysis, the remote sensing image interpretation keys was formed, And the lithology of partial stratigraphy were also redefined.This article systematically completed the remote sensing geology interpretation of research area.3. The remote sensing alteration information extraction model was established on the basis of the full analysis of rock mineral spectrum characteristic and the ETM band performance, including the geological minerals material which has known in this area, by the picture spectrum and the typical land sector rock mineral actual spectrum contrast analysis. And this article separately extracted 56 iron oxide anomalies and 142 argillation anomalies related to metal mineralized and 76 anomalies related to salts minerals by using the characteristic principal components analytic method and the ratio method. Through the average value filter and most superior density separation and other methods, the remote sensing anomaly was classified and graduated.4. The field gathering sample was chemically analyzed, mainly including Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, Ag, As, Sb, W, Sn, Bi, Mo, Co, Ni, Cr and son on. The analysis and research of the element combination correlation and its content spatial distribution rule was analyzed by cluster analysis and the factor analysis. The short wave infrared altered mineral mapping research was carried on the recent discovery Huangshishan skarns belt and silicification marble belt to grasped the zonation and distribution rule of altered mineral, and the relation among remote sensing altered anomaly, which has provide the powerful basis for the ore prospecting.5. On the basis of the above studies, the remote sensing anomaly regional distribution rule and inner link with the minerals were deep understood by the verification of the key location and the analysis of the known mineral deposit, 10 ore prospecting area was selected which include 6 the metallic minerals ore prospecting area and 4 salts minerals ore prospecting area.
