Biometry is a new research so that there are only a few the relevant researches, let alone the induction of statistical methods.Consequently,it is necessary to gen-eralize and compare them. This paper did some researches on two categories of the statistical methods:linkage analysis and association analysis.Understanding them better and the development status of biometry is our aim. This paper classified the statistical methods positioning the complicated genetic diseases into two categories.Linkage analysis method which contains TDT(Transmission disequilibrium test) is the most representative method, which is used in four ways:alleles, incomplete genes information from parents, many tight chain genes and method based on likelihood estimation.Association analysis method contains three main ways to control population stratification effectively, that is,GC,SA and SPT.
