This research report is mainly concerned with the oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of second order functional differential equations. The thesis contains four chapters.In chapter one, we introduce the background and present situation of oscillation of functional differential equations.The second chapter devotes to deal with the differential equation Oscillation criteria are obtained by using the Young inequality and certain technique which extend existing results in the literature.The third chapter devotes to deal with the differential equationsBy using analytic technique , we obtain some oscillation criteria .The forth chapter devotes to deal with the neutral differential equationWhere z(t) = x(t) + p(t)x(τ(t)), oscillation criteria are obtained by using H-method ,which extend some existing results .
